What is a DRM?
DRM stands for Digital Rights Management. To enhance the browsing experience of this website, Sherdog.com implemented DRM technology
to serve video and audio documents to "Insider" members which eliminated the need for a "pay per view" setup.
How do the Insider videos work?
Sherdog Insider videos are encrypted with a digital signature, and in order to view the video the user must have a DRM certificate.
The certificate is automatically installed during the member signup process.
The entire DRM process is NOT supported by Macs.
What systems are NOT supported?
The installation of the DRM certificate will not be successful on these systems:
- Macintosh computer
- There are some restrictions in regards to Firewalls, especially Firewalls in coprorate environments and Proxy Servers.
What Media Players are supported?
-› Windows Media Player Version 9 seems to not always support playing a DRM video within the webpage but may play the video file after downloading it to the computer and playing it locally (e.g from the Desktop).
-› Windows Media Player Version 10 seems to be the most stable version but it requires Windows XP OS (Windows 98 or Windows 2000 will only support WMP9.0)
-› Windows Media Player Vesrion 11 seems to be buggy. If you are experience problems with WMP11 we recommend to downgrade to version 10.

Do I need to setup Sherdog.com as a "Trusted Site" in Internet Explorer to view the videos?
Depending on your setup, you may need to do this. Go to "Tools" menu ---> "Internet Options" ---> "Security" tab ---> click on "Sites," and add http://www.sherdog.com.
Make sure require server verification checkbox is not selected.
I use an MSN Toolbar and the videos don't play.
This is a known issue, and disabling it will alow the videos to play.
I have Quicktime set as my default player in windows, and the videos don't play.
We've had several users report problems with Quicktime. By setting up Windows Media Player as the default player, the problems went away.
My Browser is compatible but I am getting "Error while getting system info!" when installing the DRM license
First, try to back up your licenses by opening Windows Media Player -> Tools -> Manage Licenses. If that fails, then the answer most likely is in
Microsoft Bulletin KB910998. This fix, and downloading the WDRM Update for Windows Media Player may resolve this issue.
I still can't get it to work. Help!
